for electrical contractors/

With every fault you see what is installed and what happened last time.

Fikst is software for electrical contractors whose work comes back as a fault or as maintenance. It keeps track, per customer and per address, of what is installed and what has been done. EV chargers and home batteries are in it as units, with brand, serial number, warranty and power. Faults and work orders belong to the same address, and the invoice follows from the work order.

You pay per office user and your technicians are free. You pay for the implementation once.

what to expect/

What Fikst does and does not do here.

Fikst comes from HVAC. For an electrical contractor the basics work the same way: customers, quotes, planning, work orders, maintenance and invoices. A few things you expect in this trade are not in it. We say so honestly.

What Fikst does

  • EV chargers, home batteries, inverters and solar panels are in the register as a unit per address, with brand, type, serial number, warranty and the electrical power in kW.
  • A fault becomes a service request, with a priority and a deadline. Your customer can also report it themselves in their portal, and one button turns it into a work order. Whether a contract also covers faults, you set yourself.
  • Your own types of work, each with its own checklist on the work order. In it you ask for numbers, choices, photos and a signature.
  • You record a periodic inspection in a type of work of your own, with the readings, photos and signature you want. Everything stays with the customer and the address, and with a maintenance contract the next inspection is ready by itself.
  • For each technician you record his certificates, with how long they are valid. Schedule someone with an expired or missing certificate and Fikst warns you.
  • The site survey list that comes ready has a section on the distribution board and the connection: from 1x25A to 3x35A, with the number of free circuits and residual current devices. Your customer can take a photo of their meter cupboard in advance.

What Fikst does not do

  • A distribution board is not a unit type of its own in the register. You record it as other, without fields of its own.
  • An inspection to the Dutch NEN 3140 or NEN 1010 standards with a test report is not in it. You can put readings in your own checklist on the work order. Fikst does not produce an inspection report to those standards.
  • Our screens come from refrigeration: Noordkoel, a demo company that does not exist. You see them at all features of Fikst. If you want to see it with your own work, we go through it together.

the reality of service work/

The history is with the address.

  • Recurring work without a memory

Maintenance and the breakdown service keep coming back. The history is in old paperwork and in the head of whoever was there at the time.

  • The fault call upends the day

Between the planned jobs comes the call that cannot wait. At that moment you want to see straight away what is installed there and what was done last time.

  1. your technician/ work order

customer portal/

Your customer schedules their own maintenance.

For periodic maintenance on an EV charger or another installation, you no longer need to phone. Your customer chooses a time that fits your route, in their own portal with your logo.

Scheduling maintenance

your customer/ portal
Scheduling maintenance in the customer portal (Dutch screen): which days suit you best, with Monday to Friday and Saturday as a spare day, three suggestions in round 1 of 3 with Monday 2 November from 17:15 to 18:00 selected, and the button to book Monday 2 November.

Your customer

Your customer says which days suit them, and whether they prefer mornings or afternoons. The only days on offer are the days you drive in their area.

On those days, Fikst looks for times with as little extra driving as possible next to the jobs already planned. Your customer picks one. None of them suit? Then they ask for a new round.

At your end, in Fikst

When they book, Fikst checks once more that the time is still free. The visit then sits on your planning board as a work order, and you get a notification. No more phoning to fix a date.

You set the days and the areas in which you plan maintenance yourself. It works for customers with a maintenance contract, and for a visit you have already prepared.

The customer portal is included in your subscription. You also pay nothing per customer who logs in. Your customer can do more there, from requesting a maintenance contract to the questionnaire for the site survey.

How the customer portal works

Real screens (in Dutch) from the customer portal of Noordkoel, our demo company in refrigeration, with a made-up customer. You choose per feature what your customer can do.

ai features/

Let Fikst read photos of the meter cupboard.

Two AI features that suit electrical work. Fikst prepares a proposal and you approve it.

  • Read photos

    you switch it on

Fikst looks at a photo of, for example, the meter cupboard and suggests values from a fixed list, each with how certain it is. In the site survey app it works on its own; on the customer questionnaire it is part of the customer portal.

  • Dictate a work order

    on by default

After the job, your technician says what he has done. Fikst prepares the hours, the ticked-off tasks, the serial number and a note, and he unticks whatever is not right.

    See what it looks like

You approve it. Nothing goes into Fikst until you accept it. AI is included and is not expensive: the features use credit, and every company starts with 5,000 free credits. Which actions you can take depends on your access and permissions.

how we work/

The agreements, in advance and on paper.

What you want to know before you move your whole company to another system. It is also in the terms.

  • Cancel monthly

You cancel at the end of the month. The first month after go-live is free and without a contract; after that you decide whether to continue.

  • Your data stays yours

If you cancel, you get all your data in a usable, machine-readable format.

  • Everything is in the price

No add-ons. New parts are added without you paying more within your subscription.

  • Your technicians pay nothing

You pay per office user. Anyone who only works in the field does not count, however many technicians you have.

  • You know the implementation in advance

The implementation is a one-off cost, at a fixed price we agree with you in advance. It depends on the size of your team and what needs to be moved across. Going live usually takes one or two months.

  • You talk to the builder

We build the software and implement it ourselves, without an implementation partner in between. For support you get the person who built it on the line.

Work out what it costs for your team or read how switching works. Ask for an estimate for the implementation.

Questions we often get.

All frequently asked questions
Can I record inspections and checks and have them come back?

Yes, with a type of work of your own. In it you put a checklist with the readings, choices, photos and signature you want, and your technician fills it in on the work order. Everything stays with the customer and the address. If the check comes back every year, you put it in a maintenance contract, so the next one is ready by itself. Fikst does not produce an inspection report to the Dutch NEN 3140 or NEN 1010 standards.

Can we keep track of work per object or connection?

Yes, per address. An EV charger, home battery, inverter or solar panels are a unit with the customer, with brand, type, serial number, installation date, warranty and the electrical power in kW. Faults and work orders are linked to that customer, so whoever drives there sees what was done last time. A distribution board is not a unit type of its own; you record it as other.

Is Fikst also suitable for a one-person business or a small team?

Yes. You get the same system as a large company, without add-ons. You pay €50 per office user per month, excluding VAT, and your technicians do not count. If you only work with quotes and invoices, you need less than Fikst. If you also schedule technicians, do maintenance or work with F-gases, you have all of that in one system.

Work out an estimate for your team
Does Fikst also work for a company with a hundred employees or more?

Yes. Your technicians do not count, your planning board works per crew and per day, and what someone sees and may do depends on their role. With more than 30 people in the office or several branches, we make the price to measure, in a conversation.

What does Fikst cost?

€50 per office user per month. Technicians pay nothing. With five people in the office you come to about €250 a month, excluding VAT. The implementation is a one-off cost, at a fixed price we agree with you in advance. It depends on the size of your team and what needs to be moved across. Ask for an estimate.

Work out an estimate for your team
How much work is switching?

That depends on where you are now. We start with a short scan of how you work and what you use. Then we set up Fikst alongside your current systems, and only switch over once it runs. We take over customers, installations, items and contracts from what you have.

How the implementation works
Are we tied to anything?

Fikst can be cancelled monthly. Your data stays yours, and when you leave you take everything with you in a usable format. Switching does take time: you do not leave a system your whole company works in over an afternoon.

Why join now?

Fikst runs in production every day at our first customer, with invoicing, purchasing and the bank in it. What customers ask for, we build. As a launching partner you get the builder himself on the line and help decide what comes next, at a fixed price. If you would rather wait for a long customer list, we understand that too.

Curious how this works for your service work?

In a 30-minute introductory call we look at how you work and show you Fikst live. With five people in the office you pay €250 a month, and your technicians cost nothing.
