implementation

01

How quickly you go live depends mostly on you.

Moving your whole administration across takes time, and how much depends mostly on the time your team can put in. Usually you are live within one or two months. Elite Klimaat Groep was fully live within two months; for you it may work out differently. Below you can see, step by step, what we do and what we need from you, and after that what it costs.

the five steps

02

What we do, and what you do.

Suppliers usually leave out that second column. That is where implementations fail, not on the software.

01 The scan

we

We look at how you work now: which types of work you have, what your quotes look like, what is in your contracts and which systems you use. That shows what needs to be set up and what can be migrated.

you

Half a day with the people who actually do the work. Not just the management, but also your planner and a technician.

02 Set up your way

we

Types of work, checklists per brand or installation type, quote templates in your own branding, pricing agreements, contract types and the roles in your team. This is where the template becomes your system.

you

Decisions. We can set things up, but how you want to work is up to you. Count on a few hours a week from one fixed contact person.

03 Moving your data across

we

Customers, contacts, installations with refrigerant and charge, products, pricing agreements and running service contracts. Anything that cannot be migrated cleanly, we name in advance.

you

Access to what you have now, and someone who can say which of the three customer files is the right one. That question always comes up.

04 Running side by side

we

The new system runs alongside while your old one is still switched on. We look at where it rubs and adjust. Nobody is thrown in at the deep end.

you

Putting a few real jobs through it. A practice quote in a test environment shows very little. Where it rubs, you only notice on a real job on a real day.

05 Switching over and going live

we

We switch over at a moment that suits you, take your team through it in one day, and stay close for the first weeks. The first month after go-live is free and with no contract: after that, you decide whether to carry on.

you

A day when your team is really there. Whoever misses that day spends months catching up.

why it is a template

03

Everyone gets the same product, set up for their own work.

A system built entirely for you sounds attractive until you have to maintain it. Then every improvement another customer gets passes you by, and every bug in your version exists only for you.

Fikst is one product that we set up for you. Your types of work, your checklists, your branding on the quotes, your pricing agreements: all of that is yours and we set it up. The software underneath is the same for everyone, and you benefit from that: what we build for someone else, you get at no extra cost.

Sometimes something really does not fit. Then we build it in, and you hear in advance what that costs. But that is the exception. That is why an implementation stays a manageable project: usually one or two months, depending on the time you can put in.

what it costs

04

One-off, and you know it in advance.

The implementation is a one-off cost, at a fixed price we agree with you in advance. It depends on the size of your team and what needs to be moved across. After that the amount is fixed in the quote, and we invoice it in one go at the start. The intake conversation and the kick-off session with your team cost nothing extra. Ask for an estimate.

Lead time: usually one or two months. How fast it goes depends mostly on the time your team can put in.

The subscription does not start on the day you go live. First you use Fikst free for a month, with no contract. After that month, you decide whether to carry on. That way you are not tied for a year to a system that does not work out in practice.

This is a new kind of partnership: we build the software and we implement it ourselves too. You talk directly to the people who build it, with no expensive implementation partner in between. We agree the one-off costs in advance, and they follow the size of your team.

what we do not do

We do not put you live on a half-configured system just to hit the lead time. The amount we agree in advance is fixed. If there turns out to be more work along the way than we thought, you hear about it the moment we know, and you decide whether it gets added.
